Hadrian, 117-138. Sestertius (Orichalcum, 34 mm, 26.23 g, 6 h), Rome, 119-120. IMP CAESAR TRAIANVS HADRIANVS AVG P M TR P COS III Laureate bust of Hadrian to right, slight drapery on his left shoulder. Rev. PROVIDENTIA DEORVM / S - C Hadrian standing front, head to left, holding scroll in his left hand and reaching with his right toward eagle flying to right, bearing in its talon a scepter. BMC 1020. Cohen 120. RIC 260. Attractive dark green patina, and really fine example. Light scuff on the reverse, otherwise, good very fine.
